Lake Bled has a town right next to the lake, called Bled. Bled town is the ideal place to stay. It’s a small town, so you’ll be able to easily walk down to the lake from anywhere in the town. Bled town also has a great selection of restaurants, serving traditional Slovenian food. So I definitely recommend staying in Bled town. All of my best hotels in Lake Bled for all budgets are situated in Bled town, and most are only a few minutes walk down the the beautiful lake.

Lake Bled isn’t always the cheapest destination. Prices here can be fairly high, especially in peak tourism times like the summer. In peak times, you should book your hotel far in advance – ideally several months on advance. Hotels get more expensive the closer to your date of travel, and some of the rooms might be completely sold out. So it’s definitely worth planning ahead for your Lake Bled hotels.
