The USA is a vast country with so many great things to do. There’s so much variety here – you could spend months exploring and still have new things to see.
One of my favourite states to explore is California. The coastline here is great, and you’ve also got great cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Monterey and Santa Barbara. Or head inland to see the amazing mountains in Yosemite National Park.
If you love mountains, then Washington state and Alaska are perfect destinations. The Olympic Mountains in Washington State and Mount St Helens are just stunning, and Alaska feels like such a unique and beautiful place with amazing whale-watching.
Florida really does earn its reputation as one of the best states for a holiday. Aside from the theme parks in Orlando, there’s also the aligators in the Everglades, snorkelling in the Keys, and amazing Miami Nightlife.
No trip to the USA is complete without exploring some of the East Coast cities as well. New York is just fantastic, with the Empire State Building, Times Square and Broadway shows. And Washington DC has some great museums and monuments.
No matter which state you choose to explore in the USA, you’re guaranteed to find some amazing adventures.

California has it all. From whale watching on the beautiful coast, having fun in the cities and exploring mountains, California is an amazing destination.
Florida
The sunny state of Florida has some great holiday activities. Try snorkelling in the Keys, spotting alligators in the Everglades, riding rollercoasters in the theme parks, and enjoying the nightlife in Miami.
Washington and Alaska
For some of the best snowy mountains in the USA, head to Washington and Seattle. The North West USA has some amazing scenery, perfect for a road trip into nature. Plus, Seattle is a fun city to visit as well.
