Poland is a great European country. There are beautiful cities, and it’s a great place to visit if you like history. Check out my guides to some of the best places to visit in Poland.

I really enjoy visiting Poland at all times of the year. It’s a nice place to visit for a summer city break, with lovely city squares to sit outside and enjoy the sun. But I also love visiting Poland in the winter as well. Poland has some of the best Christmas Markets in Europe.

No trip to Poland is complete without learning more about its history, particularly World War Two history. There are harrowing but hugely important museums and concentration camps to visit in Poland to learn more about this tragic part of history. You can visit the World War Two museum in Gdansk. Or you can visit the concentration camp at Auschwitz as a day trip from Krakow.

There are other historical sites as well, including some great castles. Malbork Castle is an easy day trip from Gdansk and is one of the biggest castles in Europe.

Check out my guides below for some great things to do in Poland.
