Malta is a beautiful small island in southern Europe. It’s a great place to visit for sunshine, as well as stunning views and fascinating history.
I love visiting Malta. It’s one of the sunniest places in Europe, so it’s perfect for a sunny holiday. The best times to visit are spring (April, May or June), or autumn (September or October). These months avoid the heat and crowds of the peak summer tourism months. But you can still enjoy all the sunshine, sights and food in spring and autumn.
Malta has some great restaurants, and is a great destination if you enjoy eating fresh seafood. There are some beautiful scenic places such as the Blue Grotto. There are fascinating historic cities, such as the capital city Valletta, and also Mdina. And there are also pretty fishing villages such as Marsaxlokk. Add to this other historic sites, beautiful boat trips and also the relaxed islands of Gozo and Comino, with the stunning Blue Lagoon – and you’ve got all the ingredients for a fantastic holiday.
