In the sunny South West of Europe, Spain is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. There’s a great variety of things to do, from exploring Gaudi archiecture in Barcleona, the Moorsish South and beautiful villages and monasteries in the mountains. Have a look at my travel guides to Spain to get inspired for your trip.

Spain is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. Spain has a great climate, with warm and sunny weather for a lot of the year. If you’re looking for a city break, then Spain has lots of options. You can based yourself in Madrid, Barcelona or Seville. All of these cities have some great sights, and are also a gateway to taking day trips to some smaller towns and villages in the region. If you’re looking to do a city break, the best times to visit are spring and autumn. In spring and autumn in Spain, the weather should be mild, with some sun. But you’ll avoid the peak summer heat, and the peak summer crowds.

I love visiting Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. All three are great city breaks. And all three have great day trip options. And don’t forget about the food as well. Spanish cuisine is famous across the world, with dishes like Paella and Tapas available throughout much of the country. And of course, you’ll need to try Sangria as well.

Read my articles below to get inspired for your trip to Spain.
